A new Chef at the Metropolitan

Among the Arc de Triomphe and the Place du Trocadero, the Metropolitan Hotel-Restaurant features a new menu with the arrival of Chef Stephane Pitré. The young Chef has been working for the Ritz Hotel in London.

The restaurant delivers a modern and romantic design outlined with gorgeous finery. On the floor, an elegant dining room with a chimney; beside, the Lounge Bar displays a view on the Eiffel Tower through a superb Parisian bay-window.

The French cuisine of Chef Stephane Pitré is unexpected and contemporary. The “chaud-froid” of spice-bread and ginger chunks comes along with a foie gras from the Landes. The sweet onion cream is coated with an Egg cooked at 65°C.

Chef Pitré is also managing the kitchen of the Galerie Brasserie; at 10 place de Mexico, in Paris. Opening on Monday too, the Brasserie offers a very genuine, fast and urban food with a stunning presentation. The menu delivers a “burrata à la truffe” and marinated artichoke, and a “teriyaki style” salmon with wok vegetables.
